Hello Friend!

My thoughts are focused on what it takes in today’s world just to make it through most days.

We all work hard at what we do. That is why great individuals like you are able to give, and share what you have, to help others. And Mission staff are able to work the many hours required each day to assist those in need. So many of those we help are hard working people too, but only receive a meager income because the only kind of job they can get pays the minimum of just a little over $7 an hour.

Fathers and mothers trying to raise children with a below average income is challenging and stressful to say the least. They can’t afford daycare or a babysitter. So for the most part, someone has to be home to care for the children, especially if you have young ones. That leaves only one parent able to work. Single parents obviously have a much tougher situation.

Even if you live with only having to pay the basic bills and put food on the table, it can still certainly be quite a struggle on a low income. We know. We see it every day. So many come weekly in need of food boxes, clothing, and other important life essentials. We provide them all free of charge.

We encourage you to pray and consider how you can do your best to join us helping those who have less. Together, we will make the difference in so many lives!

The homeless? There are those who do work. But I know Day Labor jobs or anything else they can get certainly does not pay more than what it takes to survive every day.

So in honor of Labor Day this year, would you join us again in partnering with the work we do to be the difference maker as we share the blessings God has given us with those who have less. In essence saying to the working poor that “we recognize the hard work of doing your best to raise a family on a meager iincome”. We know how tough it is and want to show that we care enough to help by assisting you in “making the ends meet” each month.

Friend, we ask God’s greatest blessing on your life for what you have done to be a blessing to others, and as you consider once again to support the work we do together to assist those in great need. The homeless. The hungry. The working poor. Right here in Utah.
