Thanksgiving Season Preparations Are Underway!
Help provide a meal for every hungry person who comes through our doors during the holiday season just ahead. It’s hard to believe we’re at the point of the year when we start preparing for our major Thanksgiving outreach meal events while still engaged in our ongoing daily operations. And then we rush ahead into the Christmas season where we have more outreach events planned. And this year, we expect the need to be greater than ever. That’s why we’re calling on our community to help fill our shelves and storage areas now!
As you can imagine, it takes a lot of food to provide thousands of meals to our neighbors devastated by homelessness, unemployment, and those living on a meager income. So many of them will come to Salt Lake City Mission during the holiday season months. With enough support from the community, it cost Salt Lake City Mission a minimal amount to provide a meal – and so much more.
Many of our neighbors are facing poverty, hunger, and homelessness for the first time this year. They need to know they are not alone in facing the uncertain days they are living in. Join us in becoming the “hope realized” in their lives.
IT IS MORE THAN A MEAL!
Your contribution to provide meals this holiday season can turn a time of need into a time of hope!
When we provide a meal for someone hungry, homeless, or a food box to a family trying to make ends meet – we also offer other resources to help them out of their situations of uncertainty and struggle.
Please contributr as generously as you can now. Thank you for giving to help share a meal and hope this Thanksgiving!
We need your help today to help stock our shelves and food storage areas as we prepare for the most important time of year just ahead.

HOST A FOOD DRIVE!
