Hello Friend, I’m writing today to let you know we still need a little extra help. Depending on when you receive this letter, we may be days away from one of our biggest outreach events of the year, and then three days later we host our biggest outreach meal of the year on Thanksgiving Day.
On the 24th we have our annual Thanksgiving Food Box Giveaway. Each box will not only contain food to fill the cupboards, but also include all the items to prepare a Thanksgiving meal at home. A real gift to families who are on the financially low side of things.
On the 27th we are hosting our annual Great Thanksgiving Banquet that provides a day of food and fellowship to our unsheltered and homeless residents, as well as others who have nowhere else to go, or nobody to spend the holiday with.
If you haven’t given yet this Thanksgiving Season, now is your chance to become a part of something really special this holiday. If you have given a financial gift already, please consider how you might be able to do so again.
God would be pleased that you chose to continue being faithful in providing for those who are homeless and hungry and families who need the extra help. HE will reward you greatly. You can count on it!!
