Can we count on you as we enter our annual “Easter Season of Hope” campaign?
Every year at this time we rely on caring individuals like you to join us in providing meals and food boxes to the homeless, hungry, and families struggling through uncertain days.
And it is even more important that we do so during the Easter Season when those in difficult circumstances will hear a message of hope, anticipating the reality of it. Our great God will be looking for people who care enough about others in which He can extend His goodness through. Caring individuals like you and me
Easter is a time of year when we have another great opportunity to tangibly share God’s provision on a larger scale and embrace others in the love of God, bringing reality to the message of hope and into the lives of people who need to know someone else cares enough to help them live a better life. Through our special events we will welcome many who have yet to discover that the Mission is here to assist in their time of need. This Easter you and I can show how much we care.
We have some very special Easter events planned. We are preparing for special food box giveaways and a holiday meal that will see a multitude of our neighbors in need congregate to share and fellowship in the joy of God’s goodness as it becomes real in their own lives.
On March 29th the Mission will be hosting our annual Easter food box giveaway major event. At this event we will be giving away special holiday food boxes that include all the items for a family to prepare a holiday meal at home. A great gift for a financially strapped family trying to make ends meet. We will also provide other essentials as needed.
On March 31st we will have a special Sunday event with a hot, specially prepared, holiday meal. The homeless, the hungry, and others will enjoy a time of caring fellowship as we also hold a special Easter service. There will be special gifts given to all who come. Other needed essential will be made available to those who need them.
As you can see, we only have a few weeks to prepare and get everything ready. We need your help and support now to make this happen.
And as always, with any major outreach event the Mission hosts to provide food to the hungry and homeless – it becomes “more than a meal” as we reach out further to extend assistance for those who need additional life essentials or extra solutions in overcoming difficult situations
People should not be hungry in our great State. We are doing everything we can to make sure no person is turned away. It is your caring and compassionate gifts that makes this possible.
